cultural programmes which only Kerala can boast.  Here, time does not stand still nor does it move at snail's pace. But time sets a rhythm in tune with the sun and waves, in harmony with your own heartbeat so that the moment you enter in you are healed.

It stores all the primeval energy of the sun, the rejuvenating quality of sea breeze and sets your body in the path of relaxation and health. The huts are set on the margins of a paved path along which one can amble to the cliff edge or down to the beach.

Ayurveda, the ancient science, time-tested and unique understands the essence of long living. This enhances your body's natural capacity to cope with stress and strain while catalising, rebuilding processes within the organs. For this, Manaltheeram has a team of doctors trained in this science.

The essential feature of an individual's body is analyzed before treatment and diet is prescribed. A whole host of natural herbal medicines and oils (some of them prepared at Somatheeram) is used A low-fat vegetarian diet is essential for total cure and relief.
A menu consisting of 250 vegetarian dishes made from an assortment of vegetables, raw salads and fruit juices are available. The purification and alleviating therapies of Ayurveda leaves no room for your system to fail.

Ayurveda in combination with yoga and meditation cleanses one's mind and body of toxins and unwanted elements. The morning yoga session on the lawn helps your body to imbibe the revitalizing energy of the sun, so essential for life on earth. The yoga with its vast repertoire of "asanas' (exercises) and pranayama (breathing skills) helps to realign your body and mind. The environs of Manaltheeram cocoons you in an oasis of green and coolness while offering to you the brilliant world of tropical sun and sea. The restaurant at Manaltheeram with its reed curtains, wicker chairs and the lawn with its paved The paths becomes the venue for sharing of food in the evenings. There would be performances of ethnic dances or other art forms, all of which adds to the ambience of relaxation. The incredible scaffolding of the conference hall with its openness and vastness creates an atmosphere for get-togethers and discussions. 

The herbal garden being grown in the campus emits an aura of organic healing at Manaltheeram. The different hues of shoe-flowers, ixoras, the marigolds and the proverbial shade of coconut palms add to the much acclaimed purity of the very air you breathe.

The real heritage, the beach itself unpolluted and pure with rocky outcrops and fringed by pandanus trees is where you can absorb all the energy of the sun. The sea is calm and friendly and you can try out a quick swim in the almost lagoon like waters.

Cottages (Special) : Round thatched villas, built of natural mud bricks and having more sea view. 

Cottages (Ordinary) : Round brick built thatched villas, sea view. All rooms ensuite bath, properly ventilated with fan, hot water. 

TARIFF

		Reservations will be confirmed against payment of 25% of Room Rent in Advance.
		Reservation for December, January, February will be confirmed against full payment only.
		The Advance amount would be refunded only if the booking is cancelled atleast 25 days before the expected arrival.
		All Statutory Taxes / Levies are payable extra.
